Proof through preparation.
Each episode follows a chef’s own process, from interviews and kitchen footage to close views of demanding preparations such as laminated pastry, ganache and sabayon. The food gives the ingredient a tangible test.

Content and storytelling within IDW Studio’s chef series for Savor, showing a new food ingredient through the people who use it.

Savor makes fats from carbon rather than conventional agricultural inputs. The chef series shows the product in working kitchens rather than asking viewers to accept a technical claim on its own. I contributed content and storytelling while working close with Savor through IDW Studio; the wider production and post team are credited to IDW.
Showing chefs work with the ingredient gives an unfamiliar food process a practical demonstration. Shorter social pieces can carry that proof beyond a full episode; the wider production belongs to IDW Studio’s team.

The published series features Juan Contreras at Atelier Crenn, Kyle and Katina Connaughton at SingleThread, Clement Goyffon at ONE65, and Amanda Michael and Drake Jones at Jane the Bakery.
IDW’s case study also documents short social cuts, motion graphics and a color treatment for the wider series. My credited role here is content and storytelling within that studio-led work.
